Using Guide Filters on WCG Connect TV

The Live Guide is a great way to see everything that’s currently airing across your channels, but sometimes you may only want to browse specific types of programs. That’s where Guide Filters come in.

Guide Filters allow you to narrow your view of the Live Guide so that only certain categories of shows or movies are displayed. This makes it easier to quickly find the type of content you’re in the mood for without scrolling through every channel.

How to Access Guide Filters

1. Open the Live Guide by pressing the "Guide" button on your remote.
2. Press the Left arrow twice to move into the side panel on the left-hand side of the screen.
3. Scroll down to the very bottom and select "Filters".
4. From the Filters menu, scroll through the available options and select the one you want. The guide will instantly update to show only programs that match your chosen category.

Available Filters

• • You can filter the guide by the following categories:
  • Sports – Only shows and events related to sports.
  • News – National and local news programming.
  • Movies – All currently airing films.
  • Kids – Family-friendly and children’s programming.
  • Action & Adventure – Movies and shows in the action or adventure genres.
  • Comedy – Sitcoms, stand-up specials, and comedy films.
  • Documentary & Educational – Informative and factual programs.
  • Reality & Lifestyle – Reality TV, lifestyle, and entertainment shows.
  • Sci-Fi & Fantasy – Science fiction and fantasy programming.

Returning to the Full Guide

If you want to go back to seeing all channels and programs, simply return to the Filters menu and deselect your filter. This will restore the full guide view. You can also press the back button to return to your program.

Additional Notes

• WCG Connect TV requires a WCG Connect Internet subscription. 
• Features like Restart and Replay are available only on select channels.
• Select GO Apps available for download on your streaming entertainment service.
