Using Home on WCG Connect TV

Learn how to use the WCG Connect TV Home screen for a personalized viewing experience. Find live events, recommendations, and recordings all in one place, while your show continues playing in the background.

Home on WCG Connect TV is different from the Main Screen. While the Main Screen is your central hub with menu options such as Guide, Shows, Movies, and Home, the Home option is where you’ll find a personalized and visually rich viewing experience.

    

What is Home?

The Home screen provides a poster-style layout, making it easy to browse and discover content you love without scrolling through the grid-style guide. While you’re exploring, your current program will continue playing in the background.

On the Home screen, you’ll find a variety of sections such as:

    • Live On Now
    • Sports Events On Now
    • News On Now
    • Recommended Shows
    • Recommended Movies
    • Recommended For You
    • Recordings

   These categories update automatically, helping you quickly jump into live events, catch up on recordings, or explore new recommendations.

  

 

How to Open Home

  1. Press the WCG Connect TV button () on your remote to bring up the Main Screen.
  2. From the Main Screen, scroll to and select "Home".
  3. The Home screen will load, showing you “Live On Now,” “Sports Events On Now,” “News On Now,” and more.

You can return to the Home screen anytime to explore, while keeping your current show running in the background.

Additional Notes

  • WCG Connect TV requires a WCG Connect Internet subscription. 
  • Features like Restart and Replay are available only on select channels.
  • Select GO Apps available for download on your streaming entertainment service.
