Notice - Scam/Phishing Emails - We are not closing old Mailboxes

October 20, 2025

We have identified phishing emails circulating in which scammers are impersonating Westman Communications Group or its representatives. These fraudulent emails prompt recipients to click on a link to update their wcgwave.ca mailbox, falsely claiming that failure to do so will result in closure of the account. Please exercise caution and refrain from clicking on any suspicious links.

Here is a sample: 

Dear user,

We are closing all old versions of our Mailbox as of October 20, 2025. Please follow the link below to update your account. (link would be here) Thanks for using Wcgwave © 2025. Please do not reply to this message. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered.

Again, this is a phishing attempt, so please DO NOT click on the link in this email if you receive it or an email similar to it.

Canada Post Strike. Ensure Uninterrupted Access to Your Bill!

We understand this kind of situation can be a concern, and we want to assure you that we're here to help you navigate it. Due to the Canada Post strike, the delivery of your regular WCG paper bill will be affected. To ensure you continue to receive your billing information, we've put together step-by-step instructions on how to sign up for our free My Westman Portal.

Notice to InfiniTV Viewers

August 25, 2025

Coming soon, InfiniTV is being flipped over to our all-new WCG Connect TV (launching very soon!). As part of this transition, your existing InfiniTV recordings will not transfer to WCG Connect TV.

We encourage you to watch any saved recordings on InfiniTV in the next month to make sure you do not miss your favourite shows. Once the transition is complete, you will have access to Cloud DVR on WCG Connect TV, which allows you to record, store, and watch programs across all your devices.
