Connecting Westman Tour Raises Nearly $6000 for the Spirit Sands Medical Clinic

Posted: June 29, 2026

Glenboro, Manitoba: Westman Communications Group (WCG) achieved another successful milestone in its Connecting Westman Tour on June 25, raising $5,754.30 for the Spirit Sands Medical Clinic. The total includes a matched donation from WCG, supporting the clinic’s mission to meet the growing healthcare needs of residents across five local municipalities. The new facility will strengthen access to local healthcare services for all residents.

The Connecting Westman Tour is a community-focused initiative designed to amplify local giving; it features a series of community barbecue lunches hosted by WCG throughout the summer season. For a simple donation, guests can enjoy a lunch of hot dogs, smokies, chips, and drinks, knowing that 100 percent of the funds go straight to a nominated neighbourhood charity. WCG then matches the day's total, effectively doubling the community's investment in its own grassroots projects.

Seeing the community rally around the Spirit Sands Medical Clinic was a highlight for us,” said WCG Marketing Manager Brandi Crowe. “We’re honoured to support their mission to provide accessible, quality healthcare to the region. As we head into the final two stops of the Connecting Westman Tour, we’re excited to keep this momentum going.

The Connecting Westman Tour is just one of the many ways WCG actively engages with the communities it serves, demonstrating its commitment not just as a service provider but as a dedicated community partner. Remaining stops on the 2026 Connecting Westman Tour include Winnipegosis (July 23) and Pilot Mound (August 27).
