How to Use Multiview on WCG Connect TV

Multiview is a feature that lets you view up to four of your most recently watched live TV channels at the same time. It’s a handy way to keep an eye on multiple programs or quickly flip back and forth without using the guide.

What is Multiview?

Multiview splits your screen into a 2x2 grid of channels. These channels are automatically pulled from your recently watched list.

    • Audio will always play from the focused (highlighted) tile.
    • You can move the focus around with your remote to hear a different channel.
    • Press OK/Select on your remote to switch a tile into full-screen view.
    • A channel must be watched for at least 15 seconds before it will appear in multiview.

 

 

How to Open Multiview

    1. Press the WCG Connect TV button () on your remote to open the Main Screen.
    2. Navigate to and select “Multiview”.
    3. You’ll see up to four channels appear in a grid layout.
    4. Use the arrow buttons to highlight a tile.
    5. Press “OK" to jump into that channel in full-screen.

 

  

   

What to Expect the First Time

The first time you open Multiview, a tutorial screen will appear (like the image below). It shows:

    • Which tile represents your current channel
    • Your last watched channels
    • Which tile is currently focused for audio

After the first time, Multiview will open directly without showing the tutorial again.

Tips for Using Multiview

    • If you haven’t watched four different channels recently, some tiles may be blank until you do.
    • Use the arrow keys to quickly swap which channel is playing audio.
    • Press Back on your remote to exit the tutorial or return to your regular view.
    • Great for keeping up with sports, news, or live events happening at the same time.

Additional Notes

  • WCG Connect TV requires a WCG Connect Internet subscription. 
  • Features like Restart and Replay are available only on select channels.
  • Select GO Apps available for download on your streaming entertainment service.
