WCG Connect TV: Navigating the Main Menu

Your streaming home for everything WCG Connect TV. The Main Menu is where it all begins. From here, you can jump into live TV, browse On Demand shows, switch to your favourite apps, or access your profiles in just a few clicks.

What Is the Main Menu?

The WCG Connect TV Main Menu (sometimes called the Main Screen) is your starting point for everything on WCG Connect TV. It’s designed to be simple, smart, and easy to use.

The Main Menu typically appears the first time you power on WCG Connect TV. However, if you’ve already been using the service, the system will return to the last screen you were on before turning it off. That means you may see a channel, app, or program instead of the Main Menu when you start up.

   

The menu shown above reflects the EVO Force1 experience. Other WCG TV set-top boxes may vary in appearance and menu layout.

  

What You’ll See on the Main Menu:  

The Main Menu is your hub for finding what to watch. It offers a horizontal, scrollable row of shortcuts that give you quick access to:

    • Home – A personalized hub with quick access to recommendations, top channels and networks, and more
    • Guide – Browse live channels by time or category
    • Shows & Movies – View recommendations and popular picks
    • Multiview – See up to 4 recently watched channels at once
    • Recordings – View existing recordings and remaining storage
    • Apps – Access your favourite streaming platforms

  

You can navigate left or right to explore each section, then press “OK” to open.

 

  

Quick Tips:

  • The main menu acts as your quick access, so your recently watched will always be readily available on your main screen if you scroll down.
  • If you don’t see the Main Screen right away, press the WCG Connect TV button on your remote.

  • WCG Connect TV requires a WCG Connect Internet subscription. 
  • Features like Restart and Replay are available only on select channels.
  • Select GO Apps available for download on your streaming entertainment service.
