Eighty western Manitoba schools continue to benefit from "Cable in the Classroom", a public service that provides educationally relevant cable programming, commercial-free and copyright-cleared, to enhance current learning materials. Forty thousand dollars was allocated to installing cable with over $30,000 in yearly programming made available at no charge to schools served by Westman Communications Group. As well, where it's available, High-Speed Internet is provided to schools at a subsidized rate.
