Westman's contribution to
the CFB Shilo Base Fund.
To ensure Westman Communications Group was granted a broadcasting license back in the '70s, the people of western Manitoba supported the fledgling Co-op with both membership purchases and a flood of letters to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). Ever since, Westman has made it a practice to give back to its communities. It's done so by supporting Oldtimers' Hockey, the Legion, the CNIB, Shriners, curling bonspiels, golf and baseball tournaments, skating championships, rodeos, 4-H, high school and sports teams scholarships, library expansions, fairs, carnivals, auctions, Women of Distinction, comedy shows, and more.
Westman also provides educationally relevant Cable programming: commercial-free, copyright-cleared and free of charge, to over 80 western Manitoba schools.
Look to us...to do it right.
